RTE News - A former office block which was vacant for 20 years has been converted into residential homes as part of a €26 million redevelopment project. The development at the Park West Business Park in Cherry Orchard in Dublin will become home to 200 people who had been on the social housing waiting list. Around 9,000sq.m of office space spread over two blocks have been converted into 86 apartments.

118 Cost Rental homes launched in South Dublin
Dublin People - The Minister for Housing Darragh O’Brien T.D. launched 118 cost rental homes in South County Dublin today.
The 118 homes consist of 44 one and two-bed apartments at Parklands, Citywest and 74 one and two-bed apartments at Kilcarbery Grange, Clondalkin.
Minister O’Brien first visited the Parklands development in Citywest where 44 homes have been delivered by Harcourt Developments.

Titanic: Rare life jacket goes on display 110 years after sinking of world’s most famous ship
Belfast Live - One of only six life jackets remaining from the Titanic has gone on display to commemorate the 110th anniversary of the world’s most famous ship.
This is the first time the life jacket has been on public display on the island of Ireland and it is free for the public to view in the Grand Atrium of Titanic Belfast until Sunday 24th April.
Harcourt Chairman Patrick Doherty awarded honorary doctorate

Titanic Belfast generates £430 million for local economy
A new report has revealed that Titanic Belfast has generated an estimated £430 million in direct spend for the Northern Ireland economy since it opened its doors 10 years ago today.
The report, carried out by Deloitte Northern Ireland, also revealed that in its eight to tenth years of operation, the combined economic impact of Titanic Belfast has been £79 million, highlighting the vital role the iconic building continues to play a decade on.

Special photographic exhibition to mark 10th anniversary of Titanic Belfast
Irish News - A special photographic exhibition has been launched to mark the 10th birthday of Titanic Belfast.
The People Who Built Titanic Belfast includes 123 photographs and illustrations which tell the story of Titanic Belfast from its inception and design to the structure being fitted and built.
The free exhibition, which will be on display daily in The Andrews Gallery at the venue, includes pictures of the people who created it including architect, the late Eric Kuhne, who can be seen sketching and hand-drawing ideas for the design.

We are delighted that Titanic Belfast Chief Executive Judith Owens has received an MBE in the Queen's New Year Honours for services to Tourism.
Judith was named Chief Executive of Titanic Belfast in December 2017, following on from her time as Director of Operations and Deputy CEO since opening in 2012.

Major house building project reaches 400th completion
Harcourt’s 1250 home building project in southwest Dublin reaches milestone 400th completion.
The last remaining houses in the first phase of the Parklands project at Citywest have gone on sale through Hooke & MacDonald. Four hundred new starter homes have now been completed in a prime location by the Luas Saggart stop in a development which will eventually see the construction of over 1250 new starter homes.
