Harcourt Developments is one of Ireland’s largest privately-owned property companies. We develop a broad range of residential, commercial and leisure projects in nine different countries. The Group provides full-time employment to over 1500 people.
OUR MISSION
We construct and manage property investments that deliver strong and sustainable returns via a diverse portfolio of new homes, commercial space and tourism assets.
An important part of our philosophy is to integrate cultural and artistic elements into each project. Buildings, gardens and sculpture can help to enrich the public realm and shape the identity of places.
Harcourt's proven commitment to the arts, architecture, social issues and the environment is recognised by many awards. We pride ourselves on creating beautiful buildings and attractive amenities, revitalising urban spaces, and planning for the future.
HISTORY
Pat Doherty, chairman and founder of Harcourt Developments, established a successful construction business in London in the early 1960s and went on to grow a property portfolio which became the origin of Harcourt. His unique skill in evaluating opportunities and his judgement and expertise has been the driving force behind Harcourt.
The Company remains a family-owned business.
