Major house building project reaches 400th completion

Harcourt’s 1250 home building project in southwest Dublin reaches milestone 400th completion.

The last remaining houses in the first phase of the Parklands project at Citywest have gone on sale through Hooke & MacDonald. Four hundred new starter homes have now been completed in a prime location by the Luas Saggart stop in a district that will eventually see the construction of over 1250 new starter homes.

The project comprises 700 A-rated houses and 550 apartment homes right beside the Harcourt-funded Luas stop beside Citywest Business Campus.

As of August 2021, completed elements include 400 new A-rated houses - Cúil Dúin and Parklands.

A primary school - Citywest & Saggart Community National School - now in its second academic year

Senior Living – 24 apartments at Cúil Dúin owned and operated by Fold Housing for elderly living.

Medical Centre and Care Home - operated by TLC

The development has been designed with Sustainability in mind – All houses are A-rated with solar panels, heat ventilation exchanges, electric car charging infrastructure and easy access to public transport on the Luas red line which stops at the scheme (Saggart Luas stop).

There are numerous pocket parks and playgrounds throughout the development and a large 4-hectare district park and playing fields at the centre.

Purchasers comprise a mix of first-time buyers and people trading up, with lots of families and cultural diversity.

The next phase comprises an additional 300 houses and 550 apartment homes.

Prices for 3-bed houses start at €365,000 and are available NOW through Hooke & MacDonald
