IDA property manager Conal Harvey has joined Harcourt Developments as director of operations. Mr Harvey has spent much of his career to date in IDA Ireland and was manager of its healthcare/pharmaceuticals new business division, before heading up the property division from 1997.
He led a major restructuring and development of the IDA property division over the past four years, resulting in a radical shift towards the development of new flagship business parks throughout the country and the provision of modern business buildings to attract the high technology sector to a wider range of regional locations.
The move follows the relocation of the IDA property department to Athlone in September. Former colleague Dermot Clohessy succeeds Mr Harvey at this key post.
Harcourt Developments has major operations in Ireland, UK and the Caribbean. It is the developer of Ireland's largest business park, the prestigious Park West development in southwest Dublin.
