Dublin-based Harcourt Group has signed up Irish international rugby star Robbie Henshaw to help consolidate its new hotels brand, the fast-growing Harcourt Collection.
The Harcourt Collection which has an annual turnover of €60 million currently boasts seven hotels and resorts spread across Ireland, the UK and the Caribbean and Titanic Belfast, recently awarded World's Leading Visitor Attraction at the 2016 Word Travel Awards.
Henshaw who plays for the Leinster Pro 12 team and as a centre in the Ireland squad is only 24 and will be the HHC brand ambassador promoting the group’s range across the globe.
“I am hugely excited to be promoting such a progressive and unique collection of hotels,” he says. “This is a very high quality Irish group which I am proud to support. I feel very privileged to have been invited to come on board as I was extremely impressed by the wide range of properties and locations – it is almost impossible to choose a favourite!”
Parent group Harcourt Developments led by chairman Pat Doherty says the collection of hotels employs more than 1,100 staff and has an annual turnover of €60 million is increasing its visibility as a major force in the hospitality sector.

The hotels and iconic tourist attractions collection is expanding and diversifying. This year will see the opening of the Titanic Hotel Belfast which will welcome its first guests through its historic doors in September. Encompassing the headquarters of the world famous Harland & Wolf Shipbuilders this 4 star deluxe hotel intends to be a significant addition to the city’s tourism offering.
The company also recently opened the British Music Experience in Liverpool with Harvey Goldsmith OBE.
The Harcourt Hotel Collection offers options for both business and leisure guests.
